EYES LIKE DIAMONDS

Eyes Like Diamonds

I invited three elderly ladies into the MeetFactory gallery (which is located in a former glass factory). I arranged the situation in the way that I was able to record their natural reaction after their arrival to the gallery and it corresponded to my scenario. That crossed with our collective perspectives on space. The ladies were describing the space where they found themselves for the first time. They were asking themselves questions associated with the gallery interior, its organization and its purpose.
In a room painted black there is a screen which is hung from the ceiling so that a visitor can see both front and reverse sides of the projection which shows the ladies’ conversation. It is a little larger than lifesize and it approaches the image of three weird sisters.
